What Writers Should Learn From Mad Max: Fury Road

Published on Jan 22, 2018 Mad Max: Fury Road is often praised for its visual storytelling, an achievement that was made possible by the film’s unique storyboarding/writing process. But what if you tried to write a screenplay for a movie that is primarily told through visual language? I try to do that in this video, and in the process, figure out what should and should not go in a script, as well as why I think more filmmakers should attempt to emulate Fury Road’s creative process.
