Harry ran SCCA sports cars for a while, then ran modified's...Tried to run his VW with a Porsche engine in it at Naz, but Jerry Fried, Naz, said it had to be an American made body that runs here, built a modified, '65 and ran up until '72. He ran a 348 cu in Chevvy "stonecrusher" looked like a 409, same looking valve cover.....I was the fabricator, his dad was the engine builder and brake man, and Harry was the "body guy"...His father was the Police commissioner, his uncle was the mayor, and ALL the High Bridge, NJ town kids hung out at the garage....in "back in the day" racing you had to build your own trailers also, so, I built 2...Ran Middletown and Naz....Harry done all of the painting on Frankie Schnieders race cars, as you see on "The Masters" display cars now. The music on this video is sung by the Young family, Wayne, who raced against Harry, #888, his brother, Jim, and there father who played the organ, they played locally in the Nazareth, Pa area.
