This was SO weak, it didn't even scratch the surface. Furthermore, that 2 inch fuel line was only PART of the secret fuel line system that Smokey Yunick used in that car. In addition to the long 2 inch fuel line, he also had 50 FEET of fuel line all coiled up & hidden underneath the driver's seat. That 50 feet of coiled up fuel line IN ADDITION to the long 2 inch fuel line, enabled Smokey to literally drive that race car ALL THE WAY HOME after the race, even though the officials had REMOVED his gas tank entirely for inspection. When asked "How much gas did ya really have left in the car with the fuel tank removed Smokey?".......he replied: "I could've drove the damned thing all the way to Jacksonville if I wanted to."......end quote.
