In keeping with a tradition that dates back to the 1950’s, the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon and The Commandant's Own' U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps visited Fort Henry, Kingston Ontario, Canada in August 2015 to perform two outstanding and essentially flawless military performances with
the Fort Henry Guards. The oops referred to in the video introduction pertains to the 2009 performance of the US Marines Silent Drill, also at Fort Henry. The oops moment was captured by another videographer and can be viewed at the following link:
Although the two shows were joint performances with the
equally impressive Fort Henry Guard, the present video is nearly entirely dedicated to the Silent Drill Platoon. The USMC is widely featured in best fail videos for a gun drop that happened during a 2009 Fort Henry performance. The author is hoping that the attention given to the flawless drill routine such as that presented herein is just as strong and
appreciated by the viewers. The The Commandant's Own' U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps is briefly highlighted but not extensively covered to avoid infringements with music copyrights.
