I know how underestimated those guys were. I served in what we now call Combat Logistics, the guys on the front line called us all sorts of names, but the supply network in a fast moving situation is vital and they came to realise that. It doesn't matter if it is the logistics guy in the rear warehouse issuing the equipment, to the guy driving the load to the frontline area. The Logistics guys as a whole are vital, just very under appreciated, but without them everything else fails.
