The 2018 California opener at Sonoma Raceway on March 24-25 coincided with the first HooptieCon, the convergence of misfit car groups like Radwood, Concours d'Lemons, and Redwood. It was also the first race with our new sponsors, Yokohama Tires. So, you know, what could possibly go wrong? Spoiler alert: no one was hospitalized in the engine-heat cook-off.
