The one thing that bothers me about this otherwise great short is this: It gives a message to people who became recently disabled for some reason, that death is better than living life with a disability. As a person with a disability it bothers me how this notion prevails in movies more and more.
Even though I'm seriously disabled and require assistance in almost all aspects of life, my life is still great enjoyable and full. I certainly don't prefer to die! Even with a disability there are plenty of opportunities to live a fulfilling life. I hope the creators will take this idea into consideration if they develop this short film into a feature length one.
