Suarez on Pocono pole after Harvick, Busch fail post-qualifying inspection
Harvick was fastest in the Saturday evening qualifying session, and Busch had clocked in second. However, Harvick’s car failed the body scan and Busch’s car failed the chassis station, resulting in NASCAR throwing out their times. Both drivers will now start at the rear of the field.

However, Harvick’s car failed the body scan and Busch’s car failed the chassis station, resulting in NASCAR throwing out their times. Both drivers will now start at the rear of the field.

Suarez goes from qualifying third to winning his first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series pole.“I really wish I can next time get a pole being the fastest guy, not getting a couple of guys disqualified, but it’s fine we’ll take it,” said Suarez. “The car was fast. I felt like we had actually a pretty good lap going in the last round. Very proud of my guys, they’ve been working extremely hard the last few months.” Inspection is still ongoing in the Cup Series garage, and the full starting lineup is unofficial.
