Today the Rays are threatening to move the team unless they get another stadium in Tampa/Ybor city.
What will happen years from now when the baseball team attendance fades?
Will it become another monument to taxpayer stupidity, like Tropicana Field?

Folks, people don't go to see a sport because the arena has a newer flashy appearance.
The sport doesn't get better because of a new facility.
Two examples are Daytona and Sebring.
