The World has changed. There are now two types of lands in the United States. One is the civilized gated cities run by dictators, and the other is the lawless lands dominated by Marauders. John is a Teenager faced with an overbearing Father trying to teach him the ways of this lawless land. When he witnesses a brutal act of inhumanity, he must decide how to handle what he has seen. How he faces the test will determine the path he takes for the rest of his life. REK Films rolled cameras on June 10th of this year in the barren regions of the Pryor Mountains in Montana just north of the Wyoming border. The film centers around a teenage boy trying to survive a barren land and witnesses a brutal act of inhumanity and must decide how to handle what he has seen. This one act will shape the path he chooses to go down the rest of his life. The Film stars Amber Rose Mason, Jax Menez Atwell, Travis Barchenger, Tianta Stevens and first time actor Bryce Michael Kelly The film is reminiscent of the Mad Max series complete with vehicles and that lone Hero feel. This film was shot with a Sony A6500 for about 98% of the shots. We also used a gopro and an Osmo mounted on an Inspire One Drone. The Budget for the film was $600 so it was mostly a labor of love.
