I've since moved on to a 2012 Nissan 370z. I took it to Bradenton Motorsports Park a few times, and fell in love with fast cars all over again. FF to now and I'm taking my Z tomorrow to have a Precision 6266 top mounted on the stock block vq37 and plan on enjoying all of the ponies.
I've not done much networking down here in FL, and I'm trying to find car clubs and events in the area. I came across this forum and I'm hoping there is still some life left.

There are car shows and events going on all the time.

Lots of times I show up at things and just start talking cars with people.
It seems I can get along with anyone, but I'm kind of outgoing.
Friday I was in Daytona for a race car show, and finished up the night at a car show in St Pete.
One way to meet people is to say hi at some events.
Saturday/today there is a cars and coffee meet at Reeves Porsche, Garage One and then Dade City.
The Central Florida Z club meets at ACE CAFE and some Z club members are around Tampa Bay.
