I grew up in Salisbury Maryland until I was 10-11 years old. I am SO thankful that my family moved to a gun friendly state as a child. This allowed me to actually experience the freedom of having a concealed carry permit without having to jump through too many hoops... It's funny that he mentions "a lot of times you have to have a prescription pad to get a carry permit", because that's what I always heard from anyone when I lived in Maryland.

Was that you basically had to be a doctor, or had to be a very influential or powerful person in the State of Maryland to get a carry permit. I can't remember the restrictions on handgun ownership in general but I guarantee you that it's not anywhere near as freedom friendly as the state where I currently live (Florida).
