Gunne
When I go to the range I see weapons and shooters, I do not see gender, color, religion, sexual orientation or anything else and if that is not good enough for them then they are the one with the bad attitude, not I!
This weekend, while picking up some carry ammo the owner of one of the gun shops I use introduced me to his new store manager, a pleasant lady of middle age. I didn't give her a list of demands nor did she give me her requirements for being her customer. I did not think any more or less of her due to her sex, she apparently earned the job and I will treat her with due respect for her position. I think that respect of each other is all that is expected, no special treatment.
I will go back to an old saying, an armed society is a polite society, she had a weapon on her belt, open carry and I had my weapon in a shoulder holster under a sports coat. However, we gave each other respect not out of fear but of mutual acceptance of one another. Isn't that the way things are suppose to be all of the time?
The ones I loose respect for is anyone who shoots off their mouth about how they want to be at the front of the line due to something they think is special about themselves, too many people allow this type of behavior and these morons keep getting away with their special crap, it stops now!
