First class job. I remember when I first saw a 356 it was my friends mothers car. I didn't have much respect for it. At the time I had a 68 442 and my family had had a few Karmann Ghias. So my evaluation was more along the lines of so.... your mother brought that from Europe? Why? I honestly did not mean to be insulting but I had no knowledge of Porsche other than slow but handled well. Ferrari on the other hand.. yes, I respected them. Not long after a British friend summed up North American cars, "Brute Force and Pig Ignorance." Too true at the time. To date I have not driven a 356 or a 911, which I regret.
