Tampa Bay British Car Club and Friends:
Glenn’s MG and British Car Repair’s Annual Lift Day has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 14 starting at 10:00 AM. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the day will be dry and “Cooler”. If you want to have your car inspected please call to get on the list. And come hungry, Cory is cooking some great food.
As was in the last Club email we are helping several individual families in Puerto Rico. The Club has donated monies and several individual Club Members have added to that amount. And over the last week several other Members has expressed an interest in joining in this donation.
We are now planning to send the monies after the October Business Meeting on the 26[SUP]th[/SUP]. This will give everyone several opportunities to make a donation. I will be accepting cash or check (made out to Tampa Bay British Car Club) at Glenn’s Lift Day, The Burger Quest, at The All British Car Show and at the Club Meeting.
The 2017 Club roster is almost finished and will be sent out to current Club members only and will be sent in a specific email. The roster will include Club Members names, phone number, email, city, zip code and cars. Street addresses will NOT be included. The roster is provided to enable members to communicate and assist each other with their cars.
The Club finally has a new bank account and we can now accept checks in the Tampa Bay British Car Club’s name.
Mike Milligan is reprinting (at no cost to the Club) our Membership Brochure with the new PO Box and Bank information And he will have them ready before the All British Car Show…Thanks Mike
October 15 - Driving Tour of Saint Petersburg Landmarks followed by lunch (TBBCC’s Burger Quest) at O’Maddy’s Bar & Grille, 5405 Shore Blvd. in Gulfport. Depart from the parking lot of the Chattaway Restaurant on the corner of 22nd Avenue S. and 4th Street S. in St. Petersburg at 11:00 AM. The tour will take about 90 minutes, passing through downtown St. Pete and finishing in Gulfport. PARKING ON WEEKENDS CAN BE A CHALLENGE…O’MADDY’S DOES NOT HAVE DEDICATED PARKING.
