Decent movie, but man, the kidnapper's posse were shit shots, really bad, or this dude would have been deadl dead, dead. Nothing like having a protective dad, man, women eat these stories up identifying with the unprotected girl, and guys eat up identifying with being the big bad protective dad. And we continue to love it because our culture has become so weak and emotionally flabby about protecting ourselves and each other. There is no real protection anymore when all our institutions have become corrupt, the church, government, schools, the Constitution, all of it, decaying. I know we ain't going to become stronger with more revenge and murder, but if someone wants your ass in a sling, or those you love, throwing perfumed water ain't gonna cut it either. bk
