As August comes to a close and September begins, I'm reminded of a few reasons why I love fall: Crisp morning air. Gorgeous colors all around. More options for deep concealment of my firearm. And, of course, the Gun Rights Policy Conference.
Yep, it's that time again — and I hope you'll join me!
The 32[SUP]nd [/SUP]Annual Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC 2017), sponsored by the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, is set to take place in Dallas, Texas — at the Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport — Friday, September 29[SUP]th[/SUP] through Sunday, October 1[SUP]st[/SUP].
According to SAF founder Alan Gottlieb, "This is your once-a-year chance to network, get an insider look and plan pro-gun-rights strategies for the year."
He says the event will cover topics such as "city gun bans, 'smart' guns, concealed carry, federal legislation, legal actions, gun show regulation and state and local activity."
Now, you and I both know how important it is for those of us in the concealed carry community to stand up as individuals as well as together — after all, there is certainly strength in numbers. That being said, this year's Gun Rights Policy Conference marks another huge opportunity for responsibly armed Americans like you and me to join forces in a big way, celebrating everything the anti-gun crowd hates: guns, freedom and personal responsibility.
Past speakers at the event have included John Lott, Massad Ayoob, Alan Gura, Larry Pratt and Emily Miller. I'm pleased to announce that I'll be joining those ranks this time around; if you're interested, stop by the complimentary awards luncheon on Saturday, September 30[SUP]th[/SUP] and say "hi." The USCCA and Armed American Radio's own Mark Walters, who was named the Gun Rights Defender of the Year at GRPC 2015, will also be emceeing on Sunday, October 1[SUP]st[/SUP].
We'd both love to meet you there!
As always, this event is 100% free to attend. In addition to free entry and free daily lunch, the Second Amendment Foundation is providing over $150 worth of vital, pro-gun-rights materials to each attendee. The USCCA is also sponsoring a complimentary "networking" dinner and reception on Saturday night after what is sure to be a series of interesting and engaging panel discussions.
You can learn more about the 32[SUP]nd[/SUP] Annual Conference and register online at www.saf.org.
See you there...?
