Engagement Party is the strangest and most out of place song on this soundtrack. Don't get me wrong; it's a great song. But all the 9 before it had put me in such a different mood and frame of mind and when Engagement Party came on it just felt so wrong. I almost wished I had skipped over it. Because there was this beautiful euphoric feeling the songs before gave me that Engagement Party just stripped away and I was afraid it wouldn't come back. But then Audition brought it back so beautifully ❤.

But the whole thing just made me think about music today. How a lot of it, though it is undeniably good music, it has the effect of causing only noise internally when sometimes all your soul wants and needs is a little peace and a little magic. And sometimes that comes from really different or really old school type music that a lot of people may not enjoy. I certainly didn't love jazz before this movie. But now it has such a special place in my heart. This movie is a masterpiece in every way. And I am so glad the people involved had the courage and passionate to create it. It has changed my life
