The only LED systems that surpass HID systems, so far, are the ones that are vastly more expensive and are OEM. Matter of fact, one of the best lighting systems (minus the Lexus LS projector HID's) are the Koito's LED systems scene in the 8th generation Nissan Maxima, Nissan Rogue, and some Lexus SUV's. The have an incredible width and an powerful but beautiful cut off. However, once you see the housing for the Koito's you quickly realize it's just more than the bulb that creates such an amazing output. The Koito's have an enormous heat sink and very large projector system. Then again, it cost to be the best.
