[h=2]Penske Phoenix penalty upheld on appeal[/h] Tuesday, 09 May 2017

The final appeal of Team Penske's penalty on its No. 2 team from the March 19 race at Phoenix International Raceway was upheld Tuesday afternoon.


National Motorsports Final Appeals Officer Roger Werner heard and ruled on the appeal. With the penalty being upheld, crew chief Paul Wolfe will serve the last of his three-race suspension this weekend by sitting out of the Go Bowling 400 at Kansas Speedway.
