Marie Osmond plays her real-life mother, Olive Osmond, and Joseph Bottoms plays George Osmond in this touching story that traces the young couple's romance and marriage, and their struggle to raise nine children. Two of the boys are deaf, but instead of having them institutionalized, the Osmonds take on the long and painful task of teaching them to speak.
