Mercedes-AMG's Robert Wickens led both sessions on the penultimate day of DTM testing at Hockenheim.
Wickens set the fastest time of the day in the morning session, completing a lap around the 2.842-mile track in 1m30.517s. Audi's Jamie Green (1m30.865s) and Nico Muller (1m30.880s) and Mercedes-AMG's Lucas Auer (1m30.943s) also set sub-1m31s laps among the 10 drivers who participated on Wednesday, the last of a three-day test.
Gary Paffett led Tuesday's sessions, lapping almost a second faster than the first day with a 1m30.45s lap and more than three tenths faster than the field. Audi's Nico Müller (1m30.822s) and BMW's Tom Blomqvist (1m30.839s) also fell under the 1m31s barrier.
Thursday is the final day of testing, with the season getting underway at the same track on May 5-7.
