whenever I'm down, crying with no place to go,I turn this song on. I pretend I'm on the highway driving away from all the things that hurt me. I know it may be stupid but for a few minutes, it actually helps. For a few brief ticks, I'm safe back where I started. I have not been home, as I remember it, in years. This song makes me want to run back even if in reality it's no longer there. I wonder how many of us tonight are still running and looking for ourselves or the parts we lost on this road called life?
