Run
Sean Wiederholt
This song came out my senior year in high school in Anchorage, Alaska. It came at a time when I was invincible. My friends and I ruled the world in which we lived. Buddies, booze, and girlfriends. Most of high school I could trade for anything else in this world, but when I hear this song I'm transported back to a time when I was never without my best friends in the whole wide world. A bunch of reckless fools that hadn't a clue, save for a good girl and a good brew. Full of life, hope, and not a care in sight. This is the greatest country song in my humble opinion. Not because it is just a good song, but because of what it means to me and what I think of when I hear it. One of the tunes that can bring a tear...and that's a good thing
