If you leave Tucson early enough you can make Amarillo about 2 o'clock in the morning. Have gone that way several times on my way back to Buffalo. I'd always sing this song on the way hoping I'd make it all the way to Amarillo on the first day of my drive. Lost a wife and a girlfriend somewhere along the way. But my current wife doesn't mind that.
