The brand-new Nissan Onroak DPis will carry a fresh livery from sponsor Tequila Patron during their debut season in IMSA's WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Led by the Tequila Patron ESM team, co-owners/drivers Scott Sharp and Ed Brown engaged Nissan and Onroak Automotive to create the cars that will compete against DPis from Cadillac, Mazda, and numerous spec WEC P2s while carrying the familiar black and green colors of its title sponsor.
"We're so excited to be back in the United States racing," said Brown, who also serves as Patron's president and CEO. "The new DPI cars are amazing. Our livery is amazing on our new Ligier Nissan [and I] can't wait for all our fans to see our cars!"
Sharp and Brown return to IMSA after completing a two-year stint in the WEC with ESM.
"We are especially excited to welcome Tequila Patron back to ESM for our eighth season together and celebrate this with an exciting, new livery to kick off the DPi program," he said. "As electric as the cars can be visually, we are working overtime to equal that in speed."
Practice for the Rolex 24 at Daytona begins on Thursday.
