Interesting to watch. Delighted that the number 3 driver in the world, Bruce McLaren, had some great coverage at the beginning. A 5th place in his ageing Cooper T70 was good going. I used to go to his factory every 2 weeks, a wonderful man, engineer, driver, and so friendly.
But a film like this just shows how clearly the Directors, Editors and Producers know so litle about motor racing. I go to a race track, I see the whole field, every lap. On the tele, or on a film, it is only the front of the race that matters. Race fans don't agree with that ignorant viewpoint. Also, they never showed the last time, at least up until 2016, a driver took his car for a swim in the harbour.
Paul Hawkins did that in his Lotus. LOTUS means Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious. I have stopped watching modern F1. The DRIVERS in this film were PROPER drivers. They drove F1, F2, Endurance, Sports Cars and Saloons. Hamilton nor Button have yet proved themselves to be anything at all. At least by my standards.
