Every year in the early weeks of January Daytona International Speedway is awoken with the sounds of IMSA Prototype and GT cars doing their preseason testing for the upcoming season and the world famous season opener, the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona! All of the competing teams in the 24 hour race show up several weeks beforehand to break in the latest IMSA racecars and to familiarize their drivers with the grueling circuit.
