Imagine a doctrine of man kept thousands of years ago that is read today explaining an incident far ahead of his time. Ezekiel was standing by the river Chibar where he was visited by 3 wheels which with his limited words he tried to document what he saw. (Look up Ezekiel 1, 16) I'm agnostic but I'm knowledgeable about events in the Mahabharata, the Koran and the Bible in many translations. My favorite translation is that of Von Daniken.
In his translation he outlines the idea that Ezekiel witnessed something not of his time. (Out of the ordinary.) and since it wasn't of his time and certainly exceeds anything of our time, then it must be from our future in our time line. If "whatever it was" is of our future, went back in time to our past where they met with Ezekiel, then they crossed our moment in time. Ezekiel happened over 2000 years ago and whatever it was that met with him happens possibly hundreds of years from now then we are caught in a paradox where we loop for all eternity living our lives from each moment until the paradoxical chain is broken. (Meaning something alters that meeting with Ezekiel.) We live in a ground hog day... and what you said.. may be more plausible than many realize.
