rules for nostalgia nitro classes have specs different than the big show. Smaller blower (6-71), fuel pump limit for f/c is less than 21 gal per min, top fuel is less than 19 gal per min, only one plug per cylinder, single mag only (point style mag for f/c, but you can use a MSD44 for top fuel) and no fuel and clutch system management. This is why you see a difference in performance. It's a relatively lesser expensive way to run a fuel car, where a couple of people can pool their resources and race nitro.
