One of the first videos I watched recapping a car show was StanceWars 2011 by "SpeedlineFilmWerks," here on YouTube. Early this year I got a call from Mike Tolliver to discuss coming out to film a documentary and a recap video for StanceWars Seattle 2015. I was ecstatic and overwhelmed for the opportunity to travel across the country to film. For the first time I got to visit the PNW thanks to the StanceWars team. I spent the week following Mike, his family, and his team as they prepared for their biggest show of the year looking to yield over 8,000+ guest, the largest numbers they had ever seen. There's so many little things that go into a car show past booking a venue and selling tickets. With this car show recap video turned documentary we get a brief glimpse into the life of someone who puts 110% into creating a meeting grounds for like minded people who enjoy the same interests and hobby that is car modification. The PNW has so many amazing views, people, and stunning scenery. I was only able to capture a small portion of that and plan on going back soon to see even more. I made some amazing friends while on the other side of the country, which is a crazy thing in and of itself. To travel to almost the farthest point possible away from where I live in America and have people know me and compliment my work is such a humbling and inspiring feeling. It was a pleasure putting faces to so many of the talented names I had never thought I would meet. There are too many people to thank that contributed to making my time out in Seattle one of the most memorable experiences I will have. Thank you to everyone who watches this for the support and feedback and thank you to everyone that shares this video.
