Christians have not worried their heads about the "grail". Most definitely not the earliest Christians, Besides, the apostles did not carry a set of dishes with them and the upper room where they kept the passover was not theirs. The dishes they used were not theirs either. they belonged to the place. Afterwards, there was no report that one of the cups behaved in a strange way. The girl who washed the dishes did not notice anything amiss. Something like that did not cross the apostles or anybody else's mind. Physical objects... that is called idolatry. All this was created much later. A sort of medival romanticsm a la Wolfram von Eschenbach and Parcival. This is totally unchristian.. Ignorant anti Christians fall for things like that.
