The people that built this car also have the advantage of the guys who built Thrust SSC to help them out and advise etc. For those that don't know Thrust SSC currently holds the world record for the highest speed across land....nearly 800mph!!! Broke the sound barrier too!!....across LAND!. Never been done until then. Cars that travel at these speeds need to be as considerately designed as a NASA space shuttle because they have to deal with equal amounts of stress.....on the skin.....the wheels....g forces....so much to consider. When you understand all that you might begin to appreciate just how impressive this car is.
