This one looks to be a 1962 Plymouth Fury. Marty Robbin's 1964 Plymouth Belvedere race car - the one that followed this one - was found and restored a couple of years ago. It sits in the NASCAR museum in Charlotte. It has a Plymouth body, Dodge engine and rides on a 58 Chevy frame. Back in those days the cars were pieced together out of whatever were deemed the best parts to salvage from the wrecking yard. Today every piece is purpose built.
