I first saw this while working at the Twin Drive - In theater in Indiapolis around 1975,76. It was called, "Smash up alley". Strange that they changed the title. actually more about Richard's dad, rather then Richard himself. Fun movie all the same. I also recommend "Greased Lightning".About the first black stock car champ staring Richard Pryor.
