The government doesn't take 30% of my gross, they take 50% and my gross pay isn't all that high. I was working full time, and homeless, because they would not allow me to keep enough money so I could pay rent. The government was taking my money and giving it to my ex-wife, who is living in the house that I bought and paid for, while I was forced to sleep in my vehicle. I guess I was lucky they allowed me to keep my own vehicle? I was lucky enough to change jobs and get a small run down apartment, but they are still taking 50% and I don't like that one bit!
