I understand the German lost the war but seriously they did not broke the code they just simply found that typewriter! Even the guy in a documentary said modern computers to this day would take a year understanding a message from enigma which still NOT even true w/out the right combination NO computers 'till to this day can make sense out of enigma messaged. There are 8,800+ in a 5 letter combinations so what is the odd of finding the right word for it? of course, 8,800+ possibilities! They just trying to say they are a lot smarter than the Germans and Enigma machine got nothing to do w/ mathematicians. Yes they can find out the odds but to solved it is far beyond their understanding! Just like Math if you don't know the formula then there is no way of solving the problem....
