While at the Fabulous Fords Forever show in Buena Park, California on April 11, 2011, I was witness to an incredible orchestra emanating from the exhibition area after the show ended and most everybody and their cars had left the grounds, so I rushed over to the grassy area and lo and behold, what did I see? The owners of this fabulous Boss Mustang had arrived from Canada and backed the race car out of the trailer. After a slumber of 9 months, the Mustang was started and unleashed into the parking lot and then returned to the trailer. What an experience!! Super nice owners, very willing to talk about the car - you are a tribute to the hobby. Thank you, gentlemen!
Dale Sale
The reason the 'exhaust' sounds so ridiculous is bc of the compression. And bc it has 2" header tubes going into dual pipes that comes out the sides. So it has 4 pipes from the headers back. My Dad owned and raced this car from 1982-1996(i was born in 1995). Dale Sale is his name if you're interested in reading
Rebel Rides
I am uploading this film again to my Rebel Rides account to get more exposure, but will leave it here. I have only recently discovered that the man I was chatting with, and who I errantly thought was the owner, was none other than the legend himself - Parnelli Jones. I don't know why he never told me who he was, but he probably thought it was nice to have some privacy for once, and that allowed us to communicate as equals - as normal gearheads. What a cool guy he is!!
