The two things that I wish he would have touched on were that Jan Opperman drove for him in 74 and how Page suffered the same injury at Eldora in 94. At the time of their accidents, Opperman was considered the best dirt track driver of all time and Page was considered the next super star of racing. I remember the Chili Bowl in 94,I live in Tulsa. Page his younger son and P.J. were leading the A on Saturday night and one of them had it in the bag. They were putting a lap on Kenny Schrader and the all three crashed. Andy Hillenburg went on to win that year. Later that summer at the 4 crown at Eldora, Page flipped and got hit in the cage by another sprint car. It took years for him to recover, but he finally did.
