The Grand Drift Championship presents:

THE TOP DRIFTER OF FLORIDA COMPETITION SERIES!! 2015

A Local Judged Florida Drift Series that encourages both Amateur and Pro-am drivers to showcase their skill in a battle style showdown to obtain the title of Top Drifter of Florida

Come out and support your local drifters as they battle to obtain the title of Top drifter of Florida

Do you have the skills to be the best Drifter in Florida? Do you have what it takes to be next TOP DRIFTER?

The Grand Drift Championship is presenting a three (3) round competition series starting January, 2015.

The Following is the The Grand Drift schedule for 2015 Top Drifter Competition:

Round 1:
• Sunday January 25, 2015- Auburndale Speedway in Winter Haven, Florida.

Round 2:
• June 20, 2015- Three Palm Speedway in
Punta Gorda, Florida 33982

Round 3:
• October 17, 2015- TBA (Miami, FL)

Competitors From both Classes (Pro Am and Amateur) will have the chance to put their skills to the test in a showdown style competition where the best of the best will become The Grand Drifts “Top Drifter of Florida"

The Grand Drift Championship wants to give the opportunity for all drivers to show their talent based on the ability to maintain speed, angle and overall appearance, to be on the runner up on the next TOP DRIFTER.

Below are the details for Round 1 of The Grand Drift Championship “Top Drifter of Florida”

*Location- Auburndale Speedway
*Date- Sunday January 25 2015
*Time- Start 12:00 pm, ends 7:30 pm.

The winners of the first competition will be automatically be enrolled to go on to the second show down!

The other prizes include:

Class A / Pro Am Class

• 1st place- $750

• 2nd place- $500

• 3rd place- $300

Class B / Amateur Class

• 1st place- $500

• 2nd place- $300

• 3rd place- $150


Regular fee at the gate for competitors is $150 (Includes one (1) pit crew

General Admission $15.00 , you can also purchase the all access pass for $25.00

Here are the tech rules for Drivers attending and competing in Round 1

Attention to all participating drivers:

The following is a list of requirements your car must meet before the day of the event. Your car MUST MEET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO PASS TECH. (no exceptions).


ENGINE:

*Your battery secured properly, positive terminal covered

*No oils and fluids leaks

*Exhaust system secured

ELECTRICAL:

*Brake light must be in working order

BODY/SUSPENSION:

*Vehicle must have ALL lug nuts present and torqued to specifications

*Steering system in good working order

*Seats must be bolt down and secure

*No cracks on Windows. (Must not obstruct the view of the driver)

*Aero parts secured to vehicle.

SAFETY:

*Snell 2005, DOT or newer rating approved helmet. (Bike helmets aren't allowed)

*Seatbelts in proper locations and secured from unibody or subframe

*All convertibles, open top, soft-top cars must have a properly installed, approved roll bar

*Tow hooks must be present on at least one location on vehicle.

*Removed floor mat, lose items (audio systems).

CLOTHING:

*Must have long pants and sneakers (No shorts, sandals, or crocks)

TANDEM REQUIREMENTS:

Note: all rules above apply to all drivers; the following is a list of requirements in order for drivers to engage in tandem battle.

*Minimum of 6 point bolt on or welded roll cage equipped in their vehicle

*Must have kill switch equipped in their vehicle

*Must be equipped with a reachable fire extinguisher.

*Must have a 3 layer fire suit
