I love the fender flares
Hellcat who? The 725-horsepower Mustang you’ve been waiting for has arrived at SEMA. And it’s something to gawk over. Done up by the normally sideways Vaughn Gittin Jr., the Mustang RTR picks up where the GT leaves off.
What you get is your choice of essentially two different Mustangs — Spec 1 or Spec 2. Opt for the Spec 1 and you can choose either the 2.3-liter EcoBoost or the standard V6. Spec 2 is where things really start to get fun, though. A supercharged V8 and even more performance bits come standard.
Both packages feature a new chin spoiler, a new rear spoiler, rear diffusers, and wheels, while Spec 2 adds a cold air intake, exhaust and the aforementioned supercharger. It’s pretty much a Mustang on steroids.
Oh wait, but there is one I almost forgot— Spec 5. Not sure what happened to Spec’s 3 and 4, but I don’t care. The RTR Spec 5 is just a concept, unfortunately, but it’s one of the most jaw-dropping pony car concepts to date.
This Mustang gets lower, wider, and meaner. Adding on green wheels for good measure and a fully gutted interior, this car was meant for the track— the drift track, that is.
You won’t be able to buy this particular Ford Mustang upfit, sadly, but I don’t doubt that we’ll see Vaughn Gittin Jr. going very sideways in one of these things sometime soon. And that’s totally fine by me.
