the front tires for fwd drive cars for sure and probably most awd cars since that is where the power and steering is predominantly going
for rwd drive cars it will depend on the power, if you are putting enough down to instill understeer then put them on the front, if you need more braking put them on the front
if not put them in the back for more speed and grip out of the apex
