Default NMRA Spring Break Shootout is next week at Bradenton Motorsports Park!
The NMRA Spring Break Shootout is the ultimate party for horsepower freaks as it features wild wheel-standing Ford drag racing, girls, and total Blue Oval mania. This extra special event, presented by Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, will take place at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida on March 6-9. Join the wild ¼-mile action of NMRA drag racing along with thousands of your friends for the most adrenaline pumped high-speed party of Spring Break 2014!
The NMRA race season goes live on Friday, March 7 and is followed by a traditional kick-off party at Hooters of Bradenton with a car show, burnouts, and the famous Hooters girls. Join NMRA racers and staff, the editors of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords andMuscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, and Ford enthusiasts from all over the country as the Hooters parking lot turns into a sea of colors as Ford owners show off their rides and then turn the crisp Florida air into a haze of smoke as the world famous Hooters Burnout Contest takes on a life of its own!

The Spring Break Shootout goes into overdrive Saturday and Sunday as fans pack the stands and fill the midway while Ford racers burn up the ¼ mile. From 200 mph Street Outlaws to bumper draggin' Renegades... NMRA racers will have their combinations set "on kill" to gain the upper hand in championship pursuits by winning the 2014 season opener. Sit on the edge of your seat as 100+ street-legal racers of all levels compete in True Street on Saturday with a qualified field in the Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Spring Break Shootout class, presented by Blow-By Racing, competing on Sunday. Adding a unique flare to this event is a special Cobra Jet Showdown, presented by Jacky Jones Ford and Ford Racing that will feature factory-built hot rods in an 8- and 9-second slugfest. We don't call it the Spring Break Shootout for nothing -come for the warm weather, parties, and exciting street legal drag racing and car show.

The NMRA Spring Break Shootout also features a huge UPR Products All-Ford Car Show, where hundreds of blue oval car show participants shine up and show off their awesome late- and early-model Mustangs and Fords. Magazine editors will be drooling as they search for cover cars and features. This event also includes one of the largest all-Ford manufacturers midways and swap meets of the year, so be sure to hit the ATM on the way to Bradenton Motorsports Park!
