im wiring up an impreza and was told that my harness didn't work because it's a pull to ground system. what the hell does that mean? there is a wire that's labeled sensor ground coming from the ecu, but it can't be right to ground everything to that one wire can it? most of the sensor grounds dead ended in the original harness. i am a little clueless.

also, what the hell does it mean in the schematic diagrams when it shows a wire terminating into a letter with an octagon around it? ok...tahnks in advance to anyone who answers.
