No problem, if you have any other questions I'll answer anything I can based on whats helped me.

Eating before bed is another HUGE no-no. At least while you're healing, try to go as long as possible without eating before bed. 3 or 4 hours if possible. But as long as you give yourself a good 2 hours or so it should be okay.

I had an Endoscopy, it sucked but whatever. Then I had another, they call it an Endoscopy w/Bravo. If they suggest that, just be forewarned that it hurts like hell. Feels like heartburn x5 for the first couple days, then just a nagging pain until the damn thing falls off. It SUCKS.

You may have different trigger foods than I do, but for the time being bland is key. No junk, no sodas, no caffeine, no spicy foods. Bland, bland, bland. To the point that you should try to opt for low sodium turkey on your sandwiches. Oh, they gave me this stuff called Carafate to take in the morning and before bed. Its cheap and lasts for a long time before going bad. I've still got two big bottles of it. Works best for bed, because it coats your esophagus and helps it resist the acid while you're horizontal and sleeping.

Once you've healed the damage the symptoms lessen a lot and you'll find it relatively easy to manage. But you've got to really tackle the problem hard in order to heal the damage.
