Uh, thanks for the advice. If I could afford new, I'd buy new.

But, if you buy used tires right, they'll last a hell of a lot longer than a month. You don't happen to sell new tires, do you? Or maybe your daddy or mommy does?

My wife's car has a matched set of Continental ContiProContacs on it. I bought 'em USED, balanced and mounted for $160. It's a decent tire.

We've had them for about 3 months. I just took the tread gauge to them and all 4 have just a bit more than 7/32 of an inch of tread on them.

They come with 10/32 of tread NEW and run more than $500, balanced and mounted for a set, depending where you get them.

Do the math, bro.

But thanks for the advice. I'm sure it was well intentioned.

NOW, does anyone have a lead on where I can maybe find these tires?

And do any of you guys see any problems with going outside the specs as long as all four tires are the same size?

Do you see any problems with a size range of 185-205//65-70//14?

Thanks again,

Mickey
