Currently have an entire jdm type r swap in the car and recently noticed it smoking. The motor is in a females car and has always been maintained. The head was rebuilt, and New headgasket with arp studs. So I'm absolutely positive the block has worn rings. However it compression tests at 250 all 4. Cylinders. Could b oil rings bc it def smells like its burning a little oil. However the block is not entirely type r. It has a b20 2.0 crank and b20 rods on jdm itr pistons. Runs great but its in a females car and she is worried it may get worse so her loss is ur gain. Motor is currently in car so u can inspect all u want. She just wants somethin to put back in without coming out of pocket. Prefer a vtec b series bottom end but will consider a ls if cash is thrown. No outright sale just trade.
