OK let me tell you about the fat chick theory. It seems that every group of women has a DUFF or Designated Ugly Fat Friend. They do this to make themselves look better and so if you are nice to the DUFF then they wonder why in the hell arent you talking to them. Then they begin to think that you arent just a tang-huntin cromag but a very sweet guy. Then that is where the deception comes in. By being nice to the DUFF you can effectively get IN with the cute chicks.
