i am trying to see if i can somehow evade a rebuild on the transmission by correctly diagnosing my car.Something definitely gulped my Transmission fluid before the transmission was shot...it was bone dry when i checked it..then i filled it back up and the remaining gears silently went kaput.(this happened 2 weeks ago.) I am hoping I do not end up biting the bullet and rebuilding the tranny....i think it costs 2 grand for a rebuild.Am I wrong?
