All the crank sensor will do is throw a code but as previously stated it virtually makes NO difference on how the car will start/run/drive, its a waste of about $45.

If you are getting spark as you state then the CAS should be fine.

A vacuum leak going to the fpr or somthing would make it run then stall etc, or a bad fpr limiting the fuel since you say you are now running leaner then before? Is your map sensor good(Assuming you're meaning you are running an EMS?),otherwise sounds like a bad maf.
